Hi - welcome to Ruff Custom Collars

Ruff Custom Collars started in Nova Scotia, Canada in 2017 selling on Etsy and in local markets. It eventually grew on Etsy and left markets for full time online, direct to customer selling and opened another website - this one. 

Ruff Custom Collars is a Canadian, women owned business that started out as a side hustle and turned into a full time career. The owner, Sherisse Smith has worked in the pet industry including training service dogs, teaching obedience classes and behavior modification, and operating a busy doggie daycare. Through this she has learned what does and doesn't work for dog gear.

Sherisse says, "it isn't just a business, it's a passion that gives me the absolute privilege of dressing thousands of dogs in stylish, durable and convenient gear."
